The Program is a programing tool for the Panasonic KX_ TA and KX_TE Series PBX’s (Programming Management the remote programing and admiration).

In order to use this program you wil need a PC Compatible computer using windows 95/98/NT2000/ME/XP. The program con not be used with the following operating systems.

  • ·         Windows 3.1/3.11
  • ·         Windows CE (I.e at palm or handheld computers
  • ·         Apple computers
  • ·         Lenux, BSD UNIX


After installation the program will occupy about 1.5 MB of computer disc space

The computer requires at least one free COM_port in the order to connect to the KX_TA PBX. Most modern computers have two such ports and are described as COM1 and COM2 and are usually at the rear of the computer and man be 9 25 way male plug connectors. However, they could already be sused for a mouse or external modem. Be careful not to mix up the COM_port (LPT1) that is used for connection to a printer.

The printer port is a 25 way plug as well but is of the female type programming process for KX_PBX is realized using USB port also download Panasonic KX_TEUSB Deriver.


KX_TA : Only a PBX with Y581 version of the ROM is supported by this program – older ones (y501, Y551- but it is possible to update the ROM chip) do not support programing via an external computer. You can check the ROM version help of the 998 command using a proprietary telephone.

KX_TE : all ROM versions is supported.

This program is not compatible with the following PANASONIC PBX ranges : Panasonic KX_T family (For example Panasonic KX_T206 or Panasonic KX-T123211). Panasonic KX_TD (The Panasonic KX_TD1232/Panasonic KX_TD816/Panasonic KX_TD208/Panasonic  KX_TD 208type) or the Panasonic KX_TA 1232, Which is available in some countries, Other programs must  be used for these.
